About Me.
I'm Evan Clement, a Biology major at University of Nebraska Omaha. I am a Scott Scholarship recipient.
I have always had a passion for the life all around me. Whether that be flora, fauna, or the people that I interact with every day, I have always had an interest in life. Biology, ecology, and medicine make up the majority of my passions and interests both in and out of the classroom. I chose to pursue a biology major with a chemistry and Spanish minor because I am interested in all of those subjects and studying them will prepare me well for medical school. I enjoy studying biology and aspire to be an Infectious Disease Specialist some day. I have been interested in medicine ever since I picked up a book about bacteria and viruses in elementary school. Another interest that I have had since elementary school is keeping and caring for animals. From catching frogs in my backyard as a first grader to the ten gallon reef fish tank that I have set up in my dorm now, animals have always been a big part of me.
My ultimate goal is to be an Infectious Disease Specialist or similar position in the medical field. I hope to fulfill my passion for preserving and appreciating life. EDUCATION
